Gnostic Women : A Playlist Celebration

Extraordinary Machines
2

One of the any pet peeves “Church Fathers” so called had with the “gnostics” was their amicability with females who would prosthelytize.

Proselytize means to try to convince someone to change their religious, political, or lifestyle beliefs to match your own.

Irenaeus, the original Church Fathers Heretic Hunter was particularly pissed at Marcion, who eshued the entire Judaic complex in Gabor of the Christ movement. He claimed Marcion just a pompous rooster, but had not one but multiple female companions!

Oh vey!

In this second mixtape for Substack I celebrate some of the gnostic-tinged women of music that speak to ears of my heart. It runs about 62 Minutes

Women have always been collaborators with spirit - both dark and light. Men in the Roman church were afraid of them.
